17 Pictures Of Beach Bodies That Will Get You Motivated

Every month in 2016 I am taking on a new fitness challenge.  I did a fun cleanse in January (no alcohol, dairy, gluten, sugar. Yay.Ugh.Yay) and in February it’s an ab challenge.  This article made me laugh and put things in perspective…beauty is so in the eye of the beholder.

Getting the perfect beach body takes a lot of effort, but as Ellie the Elephant Seal shows us, it’s worth it…

Science has now proved what we knew all along – that female friendships are the most powerful force in the universe

This quote says it all.  Great read, powerful message.

So whatever success looks like to you, if you want to succeed in 2016, join forces with the women around you. You may not be able to see it, but through sharing, through laughter, through long boozy brunches (yes, seriously!), you’re generating the energy that can change the world.

Afghanistan’s First Female Street Artist Brings Burqas And Feminism To City Walls

Oh my goodness, I can’t stop looking at this woman’s incredible street art. Wow.  Just WOW.

Through her work, Hassani hopes to present a different view of Afghanistan — one not easily equated with war and violence but beauty and art. “I want to cover all bad memories of war from people’s minds with colors.”

Geez, this is a huge reason why I love Project:Women…to find women JUST LIKE THIS.  Thank you Shamsia Hassani for your beauty, talent and courage.

Rebecca Campbell’s “You Are Here” Project Shines A Spotlight On Women Artists

*Disclaimer- this is my personal view and opinion and does not represent the view and opinion of Project:Women.  I know politics, especially right now, can be polarizing. I chose to include this in my Monday Menagerie because I feel that it’s a campaign that is representing the voice of the people.  I apologize if it offends you in any way.

I am not going to lie…I am really scared by the conversations going on in our country right now and the topics that one particular party is focused on but I am not going to go into that.  I am going to watch this series of videos to inspire me and give me hope, in our people, that they know what is important.  Maybe they will give you hope as well…if you need it.

Oh how I love your MM’s Jamie!! The “beach bodies” and “9 muses” totally made my day. Sometimes laughter is all I’m looking for on a workday morning! And your #40days40pieces movement for Mobile Baykeeper is just great, that video is adorable. Love!!
